Internet was spotty. Breakfast was gross. The eggs were nasty and the waffle iron timer did not work. Only one elevator worked( barely). I ended up walking up and down from the fifth floor until I left with my bags because I did not trust it. The remodeled room looked like an unprofessional DIYer attempted to do the remodel. The tape work were new outlets and switches where added looked like Stevie Wonder did it. There did not even attempt to match the wall texture before repainting, and the drywall patch work around the new outlets and switches was definitely not done by a pro. I guess I got what I paid for a cheap place to sleep for a few night while in the area. I would not recommend

Going solo to a football game in Champagne-Urbana, I wanted a reasonably priced hotel within a 45 minute drive. Hotel is just off Main Street Danville and it leads to I-74 going either East or West. Being a Wyndham Rewards member, I saw the encouraging name “Hotel and Conference Center”. No such feel at all – can't believe a group can have a confence here.|Review of each facet:|Parking – looks newly repaved and striped. Well lit at night.|Room – mixed status of renovation. New carpet but bathroom needs work. Had a bathtub but no stopper/plug so took a shower. Water was nice and hot. The bed was comfortable. HVAC worked. Looking for the TV remote, found two bibles – one in each nightstand. Couldn’t find the remote so went to the front desk and the clerk was upset because she knew it had been missing in that room and had asked other staff to retrieve it “from under the mattress”. It turns out the remote slipped down between the headboard and the mattress and was on the floor and mostly out of reach. I slid the mattress forward and used the phone to knock the remote to where I could reach it.|TV – uses ROKU and strange choices. Lots of stations dedicated to old TV series. If you know your streaming ID and passwords, more was available. I was able to get ESPN via my Comcast user info. But never found access to local TV stations for regular network TV.|Dining – the picture on the Wyndham website is of the old bar and grill that is no longer there. Fortunately, it was replaced by a nice local Italian restaurant chain. I ate there on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Very pleased. |Elevators – glad my room was on the second floor so I could take the stairs. One elevator still out of order (for over a year ? per other reviews) and the other was sketchy.|Breakfast – not available until after 8:00 and the serving area underwhelming. Didn’t bother waiting and preferred to hit the road. |Staff - tried hard but obviously overworked. I felt sorry for the clerk.

Avoid this place! It’s horrible. We arrived to find the front desk empty. Clerk came rushing off the elevator and greeted us. We went up to our room and were met with the overwhelming smell of marijuna coming from fhe clerks’ room. We knew was his room because he rode the elevator up and went into that room. Our room was filthy. A chair had grease/sweat stains where the head and hands would be. The shower curtain had mold and the exhaust fan was so clogged with dirt it had a hard time running. The carpet was filthy. One of two elevators was shut down by the Fire Marshall in August. The pool was out of order. The halls were dingy and dirty. The hotel was basically empty but our room was right outside the dumpster which got picked up at 5:30 A.M.|There are no table lamps, just bright as can be canned-lights that have one setting: blind you like sunlight.|The breakfast was the bright spot, make your own waffles but the seating area was a joke. It was dirty, dated amd had 3 tables.|Highly recommend you go elsewhere. This place is filthy and all sorts of violations, especially the high-as-a kite night clerk who said he was the brother of the owner. We think he also lives there.

This location sucks. I wouldn't go back there if it was the last thing. I'll go to Charleston il and book a hotel. They don't charge $100 fees after you pay $69.39. I did that in August to book my room and when I got there today at 3:00 they told me I owed $100 for if the room got damaged or smoked in it. All I'm doing is come up here to stay the night for a wrestling show. I'm not going to smoke. I told him to cancel my booking and give me my $69.39 back on my credit card I have left other hotels in the area and they don't charge me $100 for nothing I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. They're bad business location was great. The people that run it suck

Stopped in for a night on a long drive. Staff was friendly and welcoming at check in. I was not expecting much after what I read on reviews before booking. But for the price on a Sunday night I was pleasantly surprised. The room I had was clean and serviceable. It appeared a child had been let loose with some spackle and a putty knife lol. No real complaints about the room. No scary characters hanging out in the parking lot when I was there, I felt safe with my locked car in the parking lot. In the morning there was plenty of hot water and towels. For breakfast they had waffles, toast, oranges, cereal, yogurt and apple and orange juice. Nothing fancy but I loved the waffles and some raisin bran. Check out was easy, and the morning staff was just as pleasant as the evening. Could this hotel be better? Yes. Did it serve it purpose at its price point and leave me satisfied with my stay? Yes. Would I stay again? Yes.

Positive: Friendly staff. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable Negative: General disrepair - one elevator was out, locks on fitness center were broken, pool was broken.

The moment we stepped off the elevator into the overwhelming smell of pot (yes it's legal, but really?), we realized this hotel needs major improvements. One elevator has been out since 8.29.2024.
The room is a disaster from the mold on the shower curtain to the filthy chair to the soap dispensers that give a small teardrop size of soap.
One ice machine on 1st floor.
Pool is out of order.
Is it a Days Inn or Wyndham or Americ? Not sure but it doesn't live up to the standards of any.
Sad place to stay.

There is a reason this hotel is so inexpensive. From the looks of it, it used to be another hotel that became run down, but Wyndham bought it (hopefully) in hopes of fixing it up. However, it is currently a total disaster. The hotel hallways smell of smoke, and the bathroom sink in our room had cigarette burns from when people used to rest their cigarettes on the ledge. Our room was dusty with paint drippings and swipes everywhere, no smoke detector, stained shower curtain, sheets and pillowcases, a ridiculous bed comforter, no hand soap in the bathroom and a toilet seat that didn't want to stay up.

While they offer a complimentary breakfast, it's a bit of a joke. Very little offered and put out last minute. Everything on a whole was outdated and dirty, including the elevators which were totally sketchy. We parked in the back lot, and while we found the entrance into the building, finding our way into the hotel itself was challenging, because there was no signage. It turned out the double wood doors that looked like entry into a storage closet was our way in, and those too looked in desperate need of replacing.

If for some reason you find yourself desperate enough to stay here for nothing more than a quick rest, do yourself a favor and bring your own pillow and blanket and plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.
