I had a very disappointing experience at Hudson's Bar and Grill in Sarasota. The food quality was extremely poor, and the atmosphere was far from inviting. To top it off, the service was lacking in both attentiveness and professionalism. I believe in being honest about my experiences as a Google guide, and unfortunately, this one fell short across the board. I would not recommend this place until significant improvements are made.

Great crowd and fun place to see a band and dance in the parking lot. Mostly self service, not enough servers for larger crowd nights. Chick parm sandwich was good and beef sandwich was very good. Tater tots nice and crispy

This review is for the breakfast portion only.
We came here for breakfast but were greeted with a very Motel 6 buffet vibe.
Food was sitting out in cattering style portions with dirty serving utensils scattered everywhere.
Food was subpar compared to a cheap hotel buffet.
If you want a cheap self serve buffet style breakfast this is for you. Just a heads up, the food is mediocre, like out of a can and mushy.

However, I haven't been to the bar/other food times of this place and outside atmosphere looks nice, so I'll give it 2 stars.

What an unexpected surprise. We were greeted by a wonderful waitress. We sat on the patio for a nice breakfast and had great conversations with the staff and a couple of other patrons.

Breakfast was delicious and there were large portions. We also brought our dog who got some special treats of her own! I haven’t felt treated that special at a restaurant in a very long time.

I hope we’re able to make it back before our stay in Florida is over for this year.

Regulars there, not impressed at all for this place. No music was playing, just horse racing on tvs with regulars betting on, like it's an OTB parlor ?, waited 20 minutes for one beer, drank, and got out of dodge ?

I frequent this venue often,enjoy meeting the people that go there, the Shriners are great, it’s all for a good cause helping kids in need. The bar experience is good, but the house management needs help, they advertise as sports package, tvs on inside are tinted blue! The outside tv arrangement is screwy, 4 large tv but the tvs mirror each, which only gives you 2? Tv on west side has been out for a month and half, they are cheap REPlACE, Halloween decoration still remains up 11/15 it’s thanksgiving month, oh I forgot the tv remote system doesn’t work half the time, there are lights that are out! I hear bartenders complaining of things that don’t work, printer, TVs, lack of bar back help, servers that don’t show up etc. This venue could be a great place to have a cocktail and meet people, entertainment could be improved, karaoke I would lose! Please Shriners have a look at new management

Hot Sands is a great place to go and relax. The food is good. The food is a step above the normal bar food.
The beer is cold and wet.?
The great thing is it's casual Great place to just chill.?
Fridays and Saturdays are best because they have live music.

Typically a great experience and good food. Though today is not one of those days. Oof.....plenty of helping hands around but the bartender was incredibly sub par for the outdoor seating. Longer than 20 minutes for a drink refill.
