Truly unique experience, I never heard of it before. Essentially you take a pot from your table and choose one of the soup bases. While that's heating back at your table you choose from variety of vegetables, seafood, meats from lamb to chicken. You make up a plate and dump it into the hot soup and let it cook. Staff is extremely friendly and will show you how to use things such as the dipping bar, where you can mix a variety of sauces to create your own dipping sauce. The location by the airport is the best one.

I freakin love this place, I come way more than I should. It’s so engaging with endless possibilities!!! On top of that, there is no other place like this in Grand Junction. The owner Eric always goes out of his way to be warm and welcoming to my family and my self. The staff is always on the go taking care of everyone in the building. If you are looking for something different, engaging, and amazing, this is definitely the place!!!

All-you- can-eat HOT POT for $13 in this economy? An absolute steal. I kept thinking that there was going to be a mistake or add on costs or something, but there wasn't ---literally decent hot pot at a crazy affordable cost.

You get little individual pots of broth, which you do need to fetch yourself. Definitely be careful, and hold your bot using the side handles. You can get a variety of veggies, seafood and sliced meats (fridges underneath the island).

Service was fast. Place was small but decorated.

Pretty great deal for lunch especially but dinner is pretty good too. Everything is clean and fresh, the service is wonderful and it’s the best hot pot in town and one of the better ones I’ve been to. I didn’t try any of the ala carte items but I imagine those are good too. Would recommend trying it out whether vegan, vegetarian or food omnivore.

Wow!! One of my favorite hot pot in town. ?They have so many choices from veggies, meat and many more. I love their choices of soup for the hot pot. My friends enjoyed all the food and the servers are very nice and very polite. The price is very reasonable for all you can eat is just very good. I can wait to come in winter this will be my place.

Savory Chinese food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Service was friendly but a bit slow, perhaps due to being understaffed. Table tops are unusual, attempting to accommodate two different approaches to serving, but making it a little tricky to eat without inadvertently dropping food or utensils into one of the pockets. Overall, however, the quality of food makes up for the other quirks.

The best Asian hot pot and BBQ restaurant in Grand Junction! Chang’An is amazing in so many ways. The quality of food, wide variety of selection (seafood, poultry, veggie, noodles…), ambience and service are top class in this town.
They just soft opened in 2-3 weeks ago and already exceeded expectations. We went as a family of 6 this evening and tried their individual hotpot and BBQ. My 9 and 11 yo kids enjoyed cooking their own food and had a good time there.

Good work and we will be back!

Absolutely a five-star experience! We chose the hot pot option, which was all-you-can-eat for just $13. The variety of ingredients was impressive, with plenty of vegetables and meats to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the broth was delicious. This is truly an amazing Chinese restaurant. It’s a pity we’re only staying here for two days and can’t come back for more!
