5 stars are not enough for this place. Anything you can think of, lobsters, crabs, sushi, clams, oysters, lamb, ox tail, beef ribs, bubble tea, sodas, amazing deserts…. All included and all of great quality. The snow crab was so fresh that I had another plate. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the price was for this quality of food. Hands down the best buffet I’ve had in America.

Umi always has great food and a lot of variety. The fruit tea is also very refreshing and I am a big fan of their spare ribs. I recommend coming here with family or a big group!

It's one of the best Asian buffets I've been to hands down. The interior was designed very well and their buffet was one of a kind. They had a sushi bar, a ramen bar, a buffet, and even a boba bar! There was a lot of food to eat and everything was pretty good. The only thing I will say that I wish they had was a hibachi grill section. Their seafood was amazing but it lacked other meat items. I would definitely go back.

We were starvin’ marvin’ today and was passing through this shopping center not knowing what was inside. We walked in and asked if we may take a look and see if we wanted to dine in. We were awestruck and delighted to see all the choices of divine foods galore. We have not seen anything like this and the choices, just blew our minds. They closed at 10 PM, we arrived around 5:45PM. We literally stayed until closing that’s how delightful it was. We were still eating even though we were full ? feeling like squirrels. You will have to experience and see this place. Enjoy ?

Umi Sushi and Seafood Buffet in East Brunswick, NJ, is a high end restaurant. As a family of seven, we were impressed by the vast variety of dishes available, ensuring something for everyone. The waitresses were exceptionally friendly, enhancing our dining experience with their warm service. The restaurant was clean, and the classy ambiance made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families and seafood lovers!

I have been to this location from the first month it open, the food is great, the server is great, Atmosphere is great however the manager is not professional at all. I bring 2 adult and 2 kids for dining today and they try to charge my daughter as an adult because she look tall and where a highsole shoes today eventhough my last visit still charge as a kids price,l. I insist that, I will not eat if you insist to charge my daughter as an adult price, the manager doesn't seem to care and the business end up losing 4 customer and future visit and for sure that I will inform all my friends that have a kids not come to this location.

2nd time going was not as good as I remember my first time going. Everything was pretty mediocre. Some things we enjoyed, but others we did not. My aunts and parents stated a lot of their meat was overcooked, dry and you can barely chew through it. My dad was disappointed that there wasn't much Sashimi options. My brother and I love korean style short ribs, but it wasn't properly cooked and seasoned, we could barely eat it.

Our fave of course were the bubble tea, the fried creamy coconut shrimp and the crispy fried pork belly ... that wasn't there the first time I went so this was a nice surprise.

I also eat tons of their crabs and crawfish.

I tried the hotpot for the first time, but they gave me the wrong soup base. When I asked to change it, the server said just try it you might like it, it's not too spicy. She was right, I ended up liking it.

They had a pretty good selection of raw food, but we were disappointed they had no beef. It was only pork or lamb for the meat proteins. It would've been nice to have beef.

Although its not as amazing as some ppl say it is, I do like enough to go back at least with my friends. My family said they don't like it and won't go back there.

I think it's a hit or miss really ..... just depends on your preferences and how you like your flavors and meat tenderness.

Like I said, very average buffet. Not bad, but not great either.

I would recommend trying it for yourself!

Soo modern, bright, I Do miss Teppenyaki Buffet that was this lot. Glad they still have beautiful waitresses with beautiful Smiles! Food sleection is great, got bubble tea in the desert section. When compared to Teppenyaki, the previous Asian buffet- This Umi Place IS about double the cost. That’s what took AWAY A STAR. Albeit I enjoyed my time there and was satisfied. Go there without eating anything prior by 5-6hrs.
